The Denbora 2021 cuvée from Domaine Bordatto is an apple wine that simply cannot leave you indifferent.

Made from the fermentation of old cider apple varieties from the village of Jaxu, where the estate is located in the heart of the Basque Country “Denbora” means “time…” in Basque. Indeed, Bixintxo and Pascale took the time to revive these old varieties, starting from scratch on a single plot.

You will be immediately charmed by the nose of this lively cider, revealing notes of fresh blackcurrant and raspberry.

On the palate, the wine-like character of this cider will carry you away to a beautiful summer evening on the terrace, thanks to its remarkable length. Its captivating aromatic profile, where the apples almost fade into the background, leaves an impressively long finish… a true delight!
