Hervé & Maud Seznec
The story of a family passion In the heart of Cornouaille, in Quimper, the Manoir du Kinkiz has been upholding exceptional craftsmanship for several generations.
Today, it is Hervé Seznec, alongside his wife Maud, who oversees this iconic estate. Hervé has taken up the torch from his father, Pierre Seznec, with the same high standards: to bring out the best in the orchard’s fruit to offer products of rare authenticity.
The strength of the Manoir du Kinkiz lies in its 30 hectares of standard-tree orchards, where heritage and local apple varieties are grown. Here, they respect the rhythm of nature: the apples are harvested when ripe and pressed slowly to extract the very essence of their aromas.
A blend of tradition and patience, whether in their AOP Cornouaille ciders, their Pommeaux de Bretagne aged in oak barrels, or their famous Chouchenn, each vintage is the result of meticulous craftsmanship.
The Kinkiz spirit is about discovering a certain vision of Brittany: one of authentic flavour, respect for the land and a warm welcome. A hallmark inseparable from the Seznec family, who continue to write the history of great Breton spirits and ciders.
