Founded by Breton entrepreneur Stéphane Kerdodé (Breizh Cola, Bières Lancelot), La Mine d’Or distillery is the culmination of a “slightly crazy” project: to create exceptional spirits in the heart of Morbihan. Located on the Domaine de Ronsouze in Ploërmel, on the edge of the Forest of Brocéliande, this artisanal, family-run distillery is breathing new life into a site steeped in history, once dedicated to tin mining.

“Galaad”, the Holy Grail of Breton whisky and the distillery’s flagship product, bears a legendary name in homage to the Knight of the Round Table. This Single Malt is the result of meticulous craftsmanship: brewed, distilled and aged on site in French oak casks. Diluted with spring water from Paimpont, each vintage expresses a strong identity, blending pastry notes, indulgence and woody elegance.

A quest for excellence and innovation, but La Mine d’Or doesn’t stop at whisky. Stéphane Kerdodé and his team explore the entire world of spirits with the Speakeasy range (rums, liqueurs) and Gin Seizh. Their secret? Ultra-modern production facilities combined with traditional expertise, where every distillation is approached as a quest for purity and uniqueness.
