Ombrage – Cidrerie L’Aubinière

This single-varietal made from the small bittersweet apple known as Dous Moen is bound to leave a lasting impression.

An immediate projection into the world of spirits. On both the nose and palate, a bouquet of intense fruity, spicy, and woody aromas unfolds. Dried fruits, candied orange, tarte Tatin, flambéed bananas, and cocoa powder surround you. Clove, pepper, and eau-de-vie / pommeau-like notes reinforce the whole profile.

The cider is round, vinous, and builds in intensity. A fine final balance with a hint of astringency and bitterness brings structure, length, and freshness to this charming cuvée. It will especially delight rum enthusiasts.
